What is RE//DUX?

RE//DUX is a Video Game x My Hero Academia crossover zine. It is a reorganization of a previous project, Splitscreen, and will allow all previous contributors a chance to see their ideas come to life.

When will applications open?

Because we are inviting the original contributors of Splitscreen, we will not be hosting applications again. We do, however, ask for your support on this project and the contributors whose work will bring it to life.

Will this be a physical or digital zine?

As of right now, this project will be digital and involve three different zines - a SFW, NSFW, and a secret surprise! However, we will have PHYSICAL MERCH to go along with the zines.

Is this a for-profit zine? And how will contributors be compensated?

This is a for-profit project. Both Contributors and Mods will receive full digital bundles consisting of the digital zines upon project completion. If sales allow, they’ll be compensated with a full digital bundle and physical merch bundle. Any funds remaining after production and shipping will be split amongst contributors and mods evenly.

What pairings will be allowed?

All pairings will be allowed! Since this is a multiship zine, there will be a pairing cap. So, while it won’t be mandatory for contributors to have more than one ship they’re willing to create for, it will be advised to have a backup. The number of similar ships will be dependent on the variety we receive during the pitching process.

WHAT TIMEZONE IS THE PROJECT USING?

For all deadlines, the timezone used will be Central Time Zone (USA), GMT-6, with some leniency.

WILL THERE BE GUEST CONTRIBUTORS?

Technically, all our contributors will be guests! But the original guests from the previous project will be invited back.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM WORD COUNT FOR WRITERS?

1500 - 2500 words

WILL THERE BE AN INTERNATIONAL STORE / WILL YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Yes! International shipping will be priced at the time of preorders to account for fluctuating prices. That information will be provided as soon as we can responsibly offer it.

WHEN CAN I SHARE MY WORK ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Once leftover sales have begun, we will allow contributors to share their work in its entirety on social media. Before then, we request that you only share sneak peeks that show ⅕ or less of your work. Writers, please only share snippets :)

CAN I SELL MY WORK AT CONVENTIONS OR ONLINE?

We ask that you please wait until the zine is fully wrapped up to offer the work for sale. Once leftover sales are closed, feel free to sell your work anywhere you’d like! Merch artists will receive remaining stock of their items and can feel free to reproduce on their own. Contributors may DM mods to discuss any exceptions to this rule.
